About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an 18-month traineeship as an Administrative Assistant.
You will obtain a variety of skills and knowledge in an array of administrative responsibilities and provide support to various departments across Summerland. This multi-faceted role will be responsible for several key administrative functions and will require working knowledge of office equipment, processes, and computer applications.
This position would suit a person who is ready to start their career, is a recent school leaver or is currently completing their HSC and looking for an 18-month traineeship during their gap year.
You must be willing and eligible to study Certificate III in Business (Business Administration).
A Day in the Life of a Trainee Administrative Assistant
Provide exceptional customer service.
Be brave and use initiative to work autonomously and part of a team.
Distribution of mail.
Purchase and coordination of stationery and supplies for Head Office and Branches.
Assisting Finance department with data input, purchase orders, payments and scanning.
Assisting Marketing department with maintenance of noticeboard, coordination of campaigns, training, and events.
Assisting People & Culture and Learning & Development department.
Assisting Property & Security department with administrative tasks.
Assisting with coordinating functions.
Member of the Internal Social Fun Committee.
Receive support from team and leader.
Receive ongoing support and development during our 6-month probation period.
Receive coaching from leader and regular monthly catch-ups.
